Somatic Chiropractic Demo Day
This workshop will address the physiological aspects of nervous system regulation, as well as the visible physical markers that practitioners can implement in their tracking of clients immediately. This workshop will include demographic statistics of diverse populations regarding trauma and nervous system healing. It will also acknowledge the historical origins of most trauma work originating in cultures that today are often marginalized in the medical and mental health fields.
Through this workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand what physiological signs to track in session for signs of nervous system dysregulation
Understand when to refer to a body-based nervous system practitioner to better support their clients in trauma healing
Understand the essential impact of co-regulation and how they can tend to their own bodies in order to better support their clients.
