A Flower Essence Pop-Up with Queen & Crow Healing Arts

Join flower essence practitioner and herbalist Phelicia Magnusson of Queen & Crow Healing Arts for a playful and powerful afternoon of speed dating with flowers.

In celebration of the Summer Solstice—when the sun is at its peak and the days stretch long—we invite you to slow down, soften, and meet the flowers who want to hold you.

During this interactive pop-up, you’ll have the chance to sit with several flower essences, tune into how they make you feel, and discover which ones speak most deeply to your heart, your healing, and your next season of growth.

This isn’t about what a flower is “supposed” to mean—it’s about what you feel when you meet it. Think of it as a brief and intimate hello with each remedy, like speed dating… but instead of going home with a number, you go home with a custom flower essence blend crafted just for you.

During our session, we’ll have a brief and intentional conversation to explore an area of your life where you’d like to invite plant support in service of a vision you’re holding. You’ll meet three flower essences to get a sense of how the plants speak to you—and which ones feel like the right match.

Come root into your body, honor your emotional landscape, and let the wisdom of the plants meet you exactly where you are.

No prior experience with flower essences is needed—just your presence, your curiosity, and your willingness to connect.

Phelicia Okon Magnusson

Phelicia is a queer black herbalist and flower essence practitioner. Her work centers folks of color who are affirming their wholeness by healing generational trauma, moving though narratives of shame, exploring sexuality and returning to their intuition and resilience in the face of oppression.

Her formal training took place at Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Western Herbalism in New York City, with Delta Gardens in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire, with Shayne Case in Portland, Oregon, with Dony Cotrina at El Centro De Guadelupe Chaska Suya in Iquitos, Peru and in many deep dives of self inquiry. Phelicia is particularly interested in the intersection of ritual, healing and community.

Phelicia has a great deal of gratitude and awe for the plants themselves, the infinite wisdom they hold, and the elders and traditions that hold plant wisdom sacred. In her work, Phelicia’s mission is to be a medium between plants and people and to support individuals in reconnecting with the wisdom of their bodies and the missions of their hearts.
