The Clinic: Supervision Edition

We’re excited to build on the energy of our clinic model to offer a live, supervision-centered clinic offering clinicians the opportunity to receive, witness, and engage with supervision as it unfolds in real time. Modeled after community supervision panels and clinical salons, this clinic will feature a panel of experienced supervisors and practitioners of all levels and modalities are warmly invited to participate and collaborate!

In this clinic we will be approaching supervision from a developmental frame. As clinicians we are often holding cases that sit at the edges of confidence, clarity, or capacity. We’ll approach supervision and consultation as accompaniment and a shared mind in these complex, liminal, and even stuck spaces. The panel will attend not only to the clinical material, but to the relational field, the supervisee’s positioning, and the broader systems shaping the work. Attention will be given to beginnings, transitions, ruptures, and endings — including ethically complex situations where clarity must be held alongside grief or constraint.

Participants will have an opportunity to submit cases in advance, and two will be selected for live supervision. The panel will join the clinician in exploring the case together — bringing wonderings, naming clinical questions, surfacing multiple lenses, and modeling the relational and reflective processes that guide supervisory thinking. Participants in attendance will be invited to engage through questions and dialogue, expanding the supervisory field beyond the panel while maintaining care for the clinician and the work.
