Individual, Couple, and Sex Therapist

Do you and your partner find yourselves having the same fights over and over, or struggling to really hear and understand each other? Are there differences in desire that leave one or both of you feeling alone? Has trust been broken? Shame around sex, trouble enjoying intimacy, or a sense of being more like roommates than partners can all chip away at connection. These challenges are painful, but you don’t have to work through them on your own.

I offer a caring, supportive space where you can be honest, explore what’s getting in the way, and reconnect. With warmth, compassion, and a touch of playfulness, I help couples take risks, find new ways of relating, and open to deeper intimacy, closeness, and pleasure—creating a relationship more alive and true to your values. I also work with individual adults.

I offer a free consultation. Let's connect and see if we are a good fit!

In therapy, I incorporate Attachment Theory, which considers how early experiences with parents and/or caregivers shape the way individuals feel about themselves, form relationships, and handle conflict. My therapeutic approach is informed by Gottman Couples Therapy, the Developmental Model, Emotionally-focused Therapy (EFT), somatic therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), according to clients’ needs and goals.

I identify as white, cis-gender, and middle-class. I also identify as a spiritual person. I have the lived experience of a long-term chronic illness. My interests include hiking, film, photography, playing the piano, cooking, and laughing heartily with loved ones.

Tremendous growth happens when couples learn to “swim in anxious soup together. ” This means learning to tolerate anxiety for growth, rather than moving to control and manage one another or collapsing and complying in order not to threaten each other.
