Michelle Largent, MA, LMHC, RYT 200
Somatic Trauma Psychotherapist
In this life we are walking each other home, and it’s an honor to be a part of that journey. I offer trauma informed, somatic depth work that is infused with attunement, humor, research, and existential wisdom.
Trained in yoga and meditation practices, I also am focused on the connection between our natural world and our inner psychic spaces. I am intrigued by, and love offering, the opportunity to enter the wilderness around us as we explore the wildness within. Together we will explore your life and stories and create space to deepen your connection to your inner world.
Along with working with adults, I have experience in working with adolescents. I worked as a school based therapist at a Title 1 middle and high school. I use a combination of relational, psychodynamic, client centered approaches, Internal Family Systems, and practical skills such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
In person sessions are located at a farm and forest wellness center near North Cascades National Park, If you can’t make it to the mountains, I also offer Telehealth sessions from anywhere in WA state.
I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. I am certified in treating trauma and I hold certifications in Somatic Trauma Therapy and Narcissistic Abuse Treatment. I attended the Wildcraft Forest School in British Columbia, Canada to complete my Forest Therapy Practitioner certification. I am currently working on my advanced yoga teacher training at the Yoga Farm in Ithaca, NY.
