Celebrating 15 years together and dreaming forward.

Join us for a very special edition of our annual co-op meeting: Shelterwood’s 15 year anniversary on the summer solstice! This is the time when we gather as a community to mark the transition to summer near the longest day of the year, revel in what we have built together this year, as well gather the seeds for dreaming into the year to come.

This year we will be at Pritchard Beach Bath House along Lake Washington for a potluck celebration, solstice crafts (flower crowns, face painting), and a brief program by staff and members.

Our program:

  • 5-5:45pm Arrive, connect, solstice crafts

  • 5:45-6:15pm Brief program, solstice ritual (virtual and in person)

  • 6:15-7pm Mingle, swim, solstice crafts, depart

Bring a few stems of your favorite (or foraged) flowers or greenery , a dish or beverage to share, and a blanket/chair for sitting. Wear your bathing suit if you want to end the night with a plunge in the lake. Feel free to bring paddleboards/kayaks/floats.
