Kinnected: Facilitated Support Group for BIPOC Folks

Kinnected: Facilitated Support Group for BIPOC Folks

Kinnected is a virtual support group for BIPOC folks to learn tools and practices to heal while being in relationship with others.  This group is for people who are interested in deepening their relational skills by learning in community with other BIPOC folks from across the U.S.

KINNECTED is co-facilitated by Tolu Mejolagbe (Founder, Re-member Counseling) and Gitika Talwar (Founder, Pranh Healing & Wellness). Tolu is a Somatic Therapist 2nd generation immigrant to the U.S. and of West African descent. Gitika is a Clinical-Community Psychologist, first generation immigrant to the U.S. and of South Asian descent.

Our firsthand and intergenerational experience with colonization and immigration has helped us recognize the nuances of the BIPOC mental health experience and the benefits of a group experience where you can offer and experience witness. While racism and colonization may have divided us, our healing lies in disrupting separation and coming together in a true spirit of solidarity without erasure. We dream about fostering a collective healing experience where we can experience authentic connection with each other. KINNECTED is exactly that.

If you are a BIPOC person, we invite you to KINNECTED: a support group for BIPOC folks, which is envisioned as a BIPOC-centered healing group to practice relational skills and other liberatory tools to benefit us all.
