Making Space

Make art and snack or sip at this casual monthly gathering. Co-create a space for processing our lives, our futures, and the happenings of the wild world around us. 

  • A variety of art supplies provided

  • Light snacks and refreshments

  • Free art making or create from an original art therapy prompt

  • Pop by anytime and engage for as long as you like during this open studio!

Drop-in participation welcome or register ahead of time to inspire the monthly art prompt that Angie Amos, your host and Art Therapy Counseling Resident, designs for each gathering.

Logistics

We will meet in the Apothecary and gather around our communal table. Art supplies will be provided, but you’re also welcome to bring your own.

Exchange

This offering is $11-22 sliding scale to cover costs of refreshments and art supplies.

Angie Amos

Art Therapy Counseling Resident

Angie Amos (she/her), is an art therapy counseling resident at Shelterwood Collective and graduate student completing her last months at Antioch University. Her counseling style seeks to address the needs of deep feelers, dreamers, and caretakers. As an artist and former massage therapist, she offers a depth of experience in somatic art techniques, energy work, breath exercises, meditation, and visualization. Co-creating restorative spaces for community art is at her core.
