Join us for our next Resource Share, a Shelterwood Collective series offering practical tools and expert guidance to help sustain our businesses.
Your 10 am client just no called/no showed. You spend your unexpected free hour:
Binging a Netflix show
Eating, using the bathroom, replying to emails
Catching up on notes
Staring into the void
I’m going to guess that “C” wasn’t your first choice. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a practitioner say they looked forward to completing their notes. For me, it often feels like the most tedious and annoying part of the job.
Thankfully, you can systematize your note taking so it takes less than a minute to complete- which means you can do it in-between sessions (along with a snack and bathroom break). You deserve to use those unexpected free hours staring into the void guilt-free.
Join us to brainstorm ways you can implement systems into your business workflow and start your year off right; with less brain power used on menial administrative tasks and more on being present with your clients.
Through this workshop, participants will be able to:
Understand why a systems-based approach helps reduce burnout and administrative fatigue.
Consider how to support your neurotype when creating systems and workflows
Identify current business systems (i.e, note-taking, client communication, etc) that reduce your capacity as a practitioner.
Brainstorm 2-3 ways to streamline and systematize administrative tasks
