Grief can be lonely, confusing, and hard to carry, especially after the world expects you to move on.
Welcome to Grief Club. A supportive community for gently approaching grief through reading, sharing, and creativity with others who understand loss, facilitated by Angel Thomson, MS, LMFTA.
When we are grieving, we need people around us who will listen, who will allow us to be exactly as we are, who don't try to fix us or try to take away our pain. And sometimes those people are really hard to find.
Through Angel’s own experiences and through working with clients who are grieving in her therapy practice, she has become acutely aware that feeling isolated and alone in our grief causes deep suffering. Angel’s hope is that this community will help you feel less alone in your grief.
Grief Club is a steady, gentle space that you can rely on when the waves of grieve feel overwhelming. There’s no pressure to share, keep up, or do this “right.” You’re welcome to move at your own pace and engage in whatever way feels supportive to you.
In this session of Grief Club, we will be discussing the Forward - Introduction and Chapters 1, 2, 3, & 4 of It's Ok That You're Not Ok by Megan Devine.
