(18+) An experiential journey into your inner world through the wisdom of IFS Parts Work and the healing power of somatic breathwork.
Join us for "Parts of a Whole", a transformative workshop that weaves together the foundational principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS) with the deep, embodied release of Somatic Breathwork.
This unique offering begins with a guided IFS workshop led by Licensed Mental Health Counselor Graham Murtaugh, who will introduce the core framework of Parts Work helping you connect with the protective and wounded aspects of your inner system with curiosity and compassion.
After laying this foundation, Jered Bailey, founder of Breathe Tacoma, will guide you through a Somatic Breathwork Journey to help you move stuck energy, release emotional residue held in the body, and connect with the self , the calm, compassionate presence within us all.
Come discover why these two skills are so complimenary together.
What to Expect:
A foundational introduction to IFS Parts Work with Graham Murtaugh, LMHC
Somatic practices to help you locate and dialogue with your parts through the body
A Somatic Breathwork Journey led by Jered Bailey to deepen awareness, support emotional release, and foster inner coherence
Closing circle for integration, reflection, and resourcing
What to Expect from a Somatic Breathwork Journey:
A somatic breathwork journey is a facilitator guided experience that uses conscious connected breathing to help you move stuck energy, release stored emotion, and reconnect with the intelligence of your body. Through breath, music, and gentle facilitation, you’ll be supported in accessing deeper layers of your nervous system, unlocking clarity, release, and restoration. Each journey is unique but often brings a sense of emotional relief, embodiment, and inner peace.
Participant Recommendations:
Arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in and create a calm space for yourself.
Dress comfortably in layers so you can relax and regulate your body temperature.
Avoid a heavy meal at least 1–2 hours before the session to stay connected to your breath and body.
Hydrate well before and after the journey to support your body’s release process.
Come with an open heart and no expectations , each journey is different and meets you where you are.
