Julia Pascualy, MA, LMHC
Psychotherapist
I am a relational, trauma-informed therapist who works collaboratively with clients to deepen self-understanding and create meaningful, sustainable change.
My work is depth-oriented and focuses on patterns in thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships, with particular attention to how these patterns show up in the present moment and within the therapeutic relationship. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where curiosity and insight can foster emotional resilience, clarity, and healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
My work is informed by attachment-based and psychodynamic (relational) theories and integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of my work as a counselor, I love to spend time tending to my garden and indoor tropical plants, and enjoy being with family and friends. You can often find me playing tennis, creating art, and reading everything I can about psychology and counseling, always eager to deepen my understanding of the field.
