Psychotherapist

Have you been feeling anxious, depressed, isolated or stuck? Does it feel like something is keeping you from moving towards the life you want to live? Maybe you are feeling discouraged, like you’ve tried everything but nothing seems to work. There are times when relief from our struggles comes from outside of ourselves, through human connection. Therapy is a collaborative and creative process that can open the door to growth, self-awareness, and new pathways to experiencing the life you want to live.

I use a relational psychodynamic approach in my practice. I am particularly drawn to working with survivors of abuse and early traumatic experience. Each week we will explore the struggles that you bring to therapy, often connecting them to your story and early history. In a safe and welcoming place, we will learn to pay careful attention to and make sense of your experience–your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This process of discovery allows for a sense of possibility and hopefulness beyond the heartache and limitation that you may be experiencing in this season of life.

Beginning therapy is a meaningful step in your journey towards healing. If you are ready, I welcome the opportunity to walk with you as you learn to move forward in new ways.
