Art Therapist & Psychotherapist

(she/her)

Lotem is here to help clients make sense of life through its many challenges. She cares about the well-being of her clients and strives to help them achieve their goals. She understands that people come from diverse backgrounds and believes that there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy. She is happy to work with clients to learn what works for them and then serve them to the best of her abilities.

Lotem listens, empathizes, offers different perspectives, asks questions, and helps her clients unravel their own unique stories. Lotem firmly believes that each individual can be the writer of their own story, and she is here to accompany clients on this journey. She honors and emphasizes clients’ internal wisdom and invites clients to connect with it as well.

As an art therapist, Lotem invites clients to experiment with art making as a method of processing. Any and all levels of creativity are welcome and no previous experience with art is needed. Art may seem intimidating, but if there is willingness to use it, it can be a powerful healing tool that transcends words and conversations.

Lotem received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy at Antioch University Seattle. She has a background in education and she is a mother, an artist, and an avid learner. She utilizes narrative and person-centered therapies, trauma-informed practices, and attachment theory.

Lotem works with individual adults of all ages. She can provide services in English and Hebrew.
