Rooted + Relaxed: Small Shifts for a More Peaceful Existence

Join us for a 1-hour workshop lead by Hilary Beckwith for adults who feel like they’re constantly operating in survival mode.

Many of us move through life feeling overwhelmed, managing complex family dynamics, juggling social and work expectations, feeling uncomfortable in our bodies, or stretching our time, energy, and financial resources. These pressures can keep us in a heightened state of fight-or-flight. We lose sleep, we neglect our basic needs, and we disconnect from how our bodies feel, simply trying to power through.

Chronic stress impacts hormone balance, blood sugar, gut health, digestion, and sleep. In this workshop, you’ll learn to make small, sustainable shifts in your daily habits that support healthy cortisol patterns, so you can feel more grounded, present, and resilient.

You’ll walk away with tools to navigate stress in the moment, as well as foundational practices to support long-term stress management and better sleep.

Logistics

We will meet in the Apothecary and gather around our communal table. Bring a writing utensil and paper to take notes if you desire.

Exchange

$11-22 sliding scale. If cost is a barrier, please send us a note.

Hilary Beckwith

I’m Hilary Beckwith, and I’m offering this event because, like many, I know what it’s like to live life in a state of hypervigilence after trauma. And as a practitioner, I see every day how that hypervigilence impacts the physical health of my clients, and I want to offer practical tools to support regulation and reconnection. The work I do is functional and weight-inclusive, and is largely shaped by my own chronic health conditions and reconnection with my body after trauma. You can find more about me on my website, hilarybeckwith.com
