Psychotherapist

(she/her)

I offer holistic mental health counseling drawing from an electric range of science-supported therapies that combine mindfulness, acceptance, self-compassion, and a greater understanding of the intimate and unique mind-body connection and interplay between our thoughts, feelings, and desires.

Connection, curiosity, and compassion are core pillars of my philosophy and approach.
While I don’t shy away from being direct, more often than not, you’ll find me asking curious questions. Modeling how you can use curiosity to examine negative or outdated beliefs, look at the areas you want to change from a place of optimism versus shame or hopelessness, and get “unstuck” as you begin to take affirming action steps and build a deepening connection to yourself.

I specialize in helping clients suffering from depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, low self-esteem, and attachment wounds or relationship issues.

I'm particularly interested in the unique challenges of people navigating times of transitions - grief and loss, relocation, dating, breakups, and new milestones. I also specialize in helping people integrate non-ordinary states of consciousness and am trained in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and psychedelic integration.

I completed my Masters in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, California with an emphasis on spiritual inquiry, humanistic psychotherapy and mindfulness and received advanced training in multiple evidenced-based therapies at the University of California, San Francisco where I worked for over a decade in clinical research and care delivery. In my free time, you’ll find me spending time with animals (I have two Australian Shepherds and a cat who occasionally make visits in my sessions), hiking, or dreaming about home decor and design.

While the search for a therapist can be daunting, it’s important to feel a positive connection with your therapist - one where you feel safe, valued and heard. I encourage clients to speak with multiple providers in your search and invite you to reach out if you think we might be a good fit.
