Psychotherapist and Holistic Trauma Therapist, Trauma-Informed Health & Wellness Coach and Story Work Coach

(she/her)

The pain from our past doesn’t just stay in the past—it lives in our bodies, in our relationships, in the way we see the world, casting a heavy shadow over everything. You may feel trapped in your own body, convinced you’re too broken, too much, not enough, too complicated for anyone to truly love. Maybe you believe that if people really knew you, they would turn away. You’re not alone. I’ve walked that road, and I know how hard–and how brave it is to take the first step into the terrifying unknown. It is terrifying to change, to hope. You are held in good company.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate in the State of Washington. I earned my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Psychology and Theology with a concentration in Trauma and Abuse. I’ve completed advanced training with The Allender Center  (an organization that specializes in healing from trauma, childhood sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse) in the model of therapy known as Narrative Focused Trauma Care. Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a Landscape Architect, driven by a desire to create spaces of beauty, harmony, and containment for human flourishing. Even with the right job, the right relationship, and the life I was "supposed" to want, my soul was bleeding beneath the surface. It wasn't until my relationships and my body broke down that I found the courage to seek healing. Therapy gave me back to myself, through mourning, compassion, creativity, embodiment, and connection to a “safe enough” other, I began the slow work of becoming whole. Today, as a therapist, I offer others the same shelter: a place to be seen, to heal, and to imagine a life that is truly your own.

I work with women-identifying and non-binary adults who experienced trauma and abuse in childhood and are navigating the lasting impact it can have on trust, intimacy, and emotional safety. Together, we can create a path of healing that honors your story and create an ecology of life that supports your body and wellbeing. While I primarily work with women, if you identify as male, I am happy to explore if it feels like a good fit.

In our work together, I will support and guide you with gentle curiosity and empathic attunement to help you explore fear, anxiety, desires, dreams, and existential dread that are keeping you from living the life you want and becoming the person you are made to be. Through somatic modalities such as mindfulness, body scanning, breathwork, or expressive arts, you will  learn to tune into how your body is feeling and how to express it. As a multicultural and multi-ethnic person, I also work across an intergenerational, ancestral, racial, and cross-cultural landscape. We will begin to gently heal your imagination for what holistic flourishing looks like in your life and build confidence to make movement in your journey. I would love to be that safe space to partner with you on this most tender and essential journey.

A human being becomes whole not in virtue of a relation to himself [only] but rather in virtue of an authentic relation to another human being(s).
