Somatic Psychotherapist

(she/her)

You may have found your way here because something in your life is asking for deeper attention. Perhaps you have spent a long time trying to understand yourself and your patterns, yet still find yourself caught in familiar ways of relating, protecting, or moving through the world. You may be navigating grief or transition, tending wounds from relationships or religion, exploring your spirituality, or simply longing to feel more connected to yourself and the life you are living.

I am drawn to the places beneath the surface, the patterns we repeat, the stories we carry, the wisdom of the body, and the parts of ourselves that developed along the way to help us survive and belong. In our work together, I offer a warm, curious, and collaborative space where we can slow down enough to listen to what your inner experience may be communicating. I don't believe therapy is about fixing what is wrong with you. I see it as an opportunity to deepen your relationship with yourself and gently tend what has been asking for your attention.

My approach is relational, somatic, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed, with particular attention to attachment and the nervous system. Depending on what feels meaningful to you, our work might also include parts work, EMDR, expressive arts, dreams, spirituality, ritual, and exploration of meaning. I welcome the complexity of spiritual life into the therapy room, including experiences of religious wounding, changing beliefs, spiritual questioning, and the desire to develop a spirituality that feels authentic to you.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent 15 years counseling in nutrition and integrative health. My own path eventually led me toward a deeper curiosity about the relationship between mind, body, relationships, culture, and spirit. My graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with ongoing study in somatic psychotherapy, trauma, attachment, EMDR, and contemplative and spiritual traditions, continues to shape how I understand healing.

Above all, I believe there is profound wisdom in each person's inner world. Therapy with me is an invitation to become curious about yours. We will explore what lives beneath the surface, tend what needs healing, and honor the wisdom already within.
