Mental Health Therapist for Pregnant People and New Moms

(she/her)

Looking for a therapist is its own kind of work. I'm glad you landed here.

I believe that good therapy is support for how isolating modern life can be. Too much to manage, not enough space to figure out what you actually need. That's what drew me to this work initially, and it's what keeps me curious to develop as a practitioner.

Over time, my focus has deepened into the perinatal and postpartum world, and I haven't looked back. The identity shifts, relationship changes, and questions of self that are always present in therapy become especially vivid during this season of life.

I draw on Parts Work, attachment theory, ACT, and my background in yoga to help you move through life’s transitions, not only to survive them, but to come out of them with an authentic sense of who you are and who you want to become.

When I’m not therapizing I try my best to put down my phone and get out into the world.

I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not how shall
I correct it?

Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?

Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.

Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?

Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And I gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.
