Lynn Crothers, MA, LMHCA
Psychotherapist
(she/they)
I support individuals (18+) navigating a variety of issues, including but not limited to: chronic pain and illness, complex trauma, dissociation and dissociative identities, depression and grief, relationship challenges, searches for meaning, and family of origin concerns. Trained in depth psychology, I am an ideal fit for anyone who is engaged in the process of self-understanding, curious about life, and seeking to be known. I believe the potential for deep healing, connection, and revitalization exists within this work. Though my approach is integrative, folding in many modalities, it is rooted in the neurobiology of attachment, the art of relational psychoanalysis, and the belief that talking—about our inner experience—can lead to change.
We’re living in complex times. Whether due to trauma, illness, the impacts of culture, or other factors, we can all experience disconnection from our own innate strength and wisdom. I provide a supportive, encouraging environment for individuals wanting to explore who they are, where they might be stuck or struggling, and what they most want out of their life. You'll find in me a warm, thoughtful, collaborative partner. In a world that prizes efficiency and speed, I aim to create a space in which we can move at your pace. Identifying core issues and patterns and creatively changing takes time, but the positive effects reverberate far beyond our own lives, leading to a richer engagement in the world at large.
