Are you someone who is discovering new identities as an adult – maybe you are exploring sexuality, gender identity, disability, and/or neurodivergence. You’ve been in therapy for a long time, but you are wanting to experience something more liberatory – you have read lots of books, you know about attachment styles and have quite enough coping tools, but you want to embody what you’ve learned, you want to experience a felt sense of safety in your body.
I became a therapist because of the care that I received in my own therapy. My work is informed by my lived experience as a Black, queer, non-binary, disabled, polyamorous human. I value deep compassion in supporting folks around complex trauma (even and especially if you are someone who tends to minimize your experiences), enmeshment and family of origin dynamics, and navigating a world not built for us. I am certified in Somatic Attachment therapy and value providing relational, neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care.
My clinical areas of experience include OCD, eating disorders, religious trauma, and attachment wounds. I am a kink-friendly, HAES aligned, trauma-informed, anti-carceral therapist. I utilize an eclectic approach that incorporates parts work, Somatic Experiencing, and radical compassion. I would be honored to meet with you, and help you access more joy and safety.
