From Survival Mode to Steady: Practical Tools to Regulate Your Nervous System

If you feel like you’re constantly “on,” overwhelmed, or pushing through exhaustion just to keep up with daily life, your nervous system may be stuck in survival mode.

Join us for a 1-hour workshop led by Hilary Beckwith, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, designed for adults who want to better understand their stress response and learn practical ways to support their body in moving toward steadiness and resilience.

Modern life asks a lot of us: complex family dynamics, work and social demands, financial pressure, and chronic busyness. Over time, these stressors can keep the body in a heightened fight-or-flight state, impacting sleep, digestion, gut health, blood sugar balance, and hormones. Many people respond by ignoring their body’s signals and powering through, often at the cost of their long-term wellbeing.

In this workshop, Hilary will break down how the autonomic nervous system works, how it responds to stress, and how that response shows up in everyday issues like poor sleep, digestive discomfort, and feeling wired but tired. Rather than focusing on “staying calm” all the time, this session emphasizes awareness, timing, and practical regulation strategies so you can support your nervous system in ways that actually fit real life.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clear, accessible understanding of your nervous system and stress response

  • Insight into how stress affects sleep, digestion, gut health, and hormone balance

  • Simple, sustainable shifts you can make to support healthier cortisol patterns

  • In-the-moment tools for navigating stress, plus foundational habits for long-term regulation and better sleep

This workshop is for anyone who feels disconnected from their body, stuck in chronic stress, or curious about how nervous system regulation can support overall health without perfection or overwhelm.

Hilary Beckwith

I’m Hilary Beckwith, and I’m offering this event because, like many, I know what it’s like to live life in a state of hypervigilence after trauma. And as a practitioner, I see every day how that hypervigilence impacts the physical health of my clients, and I want to offer practical tools to support regulation and reconnection. The work I do is functional and weight-inclusive, and is largely shaped by my own chronic health conditions and reconnection with my body after trauma. You can find more about me on my website, hilarybeckwith.com
