Carrie Cole, MA, LMHC
Psychotherapist
(she/her)
I have been in private practice, focusing on young adults, since 2017. My passion for understanding and supporting the emerging adult generation entering the world began during the 2008 recession, when we were all left to find a way forward without the roadmap of past generations. I became fascinated with this disruption to society, which provided an opportunity for young people to have great influence in the world, but was also deeply concerned by who was filling the role of providing relevant and relatable support to such an unprecedented experience. I am now entering my 40s, having spent my adult life attempting to skillfully navigate constant change, and I am grateful for the opportunity to provide support for young people stepping into the world amid ever-increasing destabilization. I offer an opportunistic reframing focused on using this moment – albeit one filled with suffering – for deep healing and change, while holding the complexity of this task in our lives.
Prior to private practice, I worked in community mental health for 2.5 years at Sound Mental Health (now known as Sound), providing mental health treatment to adults reentering society after incarceration.
