Psychotherapist

(she/her)

Whether it's the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, or a transition that happened before you were ready, loss in your life can be difficult to handle. Maybe you don't know what to do next, or you've been the one taking care of everyone else and don't know who's taking care of you. Whatever you're feeling right now, you don't have to do it alone. Grief is close to my heart. I've lived it myself, and I know how all-encompassing, confusing, and lonely it can feel. I work with adults navigating grief and loss, traumatic or caregiver grief, big life transitions, anxiety, and depression.

I want to meet you where you are. Together, we can navigate the complexity of what you're feeling, how you're processing what happened to you, and find new meaning as you move through it. I work from a somatic lens, paying attention to your body's connection to your mind. I'll bring in tools from different approaches and we'll build a path forward together.

I want you to feel like this is collaborative, not confusing or difficult, even though the work won't always be easy. I'm here for you. My goal is that you are eventually able to carry grief with you in a way that lets you keep living. It becomes part of your story, not something that defines you.

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not 'get over' the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered.”
