Welcome! I'm Nathan (they/them). I am a therapist with a passion for guiding individuals through life's challenges. With over 8 years of experience in the field, I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and LGBTQ identity exploration. I also have extensive experience in therapy with folks struggling around suicidality, high-risk behaviors, and other crisis.
My approach is rooted in centering the individual, a structural analysis of the systems we struggle with daily, a sense of justice, empathy, and radical acceptance. I employ the practices of a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, flash trauma reprocessing technique, psychoeducation, empowerment, evidence-based safety planning, narrative therapy, and transformative justice.
I hold a Master's of Clinical Social Work from the University of Washington and continuously engage in professional development to stay up to date on the latest research and techniques in psychotherapy. I'm dedicated to helping you find clarity, resilience, and a path forward that feels authentic and empowering.
When I'm not working with clients, you can find me fishing, hunting, gathering and distributing food within my community, engaging in community projects, and petting a lot of dogs!
