Kallan (Kali) Palmer, MA, LMHCA
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate
(they/she)
Hi I’m Kali,
I am non-binary fem, neurodivergent, and passionately introverted. I consider myself a sensitive-weirdo in the best of ways and find I gravitate to those who resonate with that characteristic. I approach this work as a human first and therapist second, celebrating our messiness and fallibility as well as our capacity for profound joy and connection. We are not given a map for how to live well and it is a deeply courageous act to journey in making your own.
My approach to therapy is eclectic at heart, with its roots in Existential Phenomenology and Liberatory Psychology. I draw on these frameworks to help explore the meaning and nuances of one’s unique lived experiences, while also recognizing how systems of power, oppression, and privilege shape one’s sense of self and overall well-being. I am sex-positive, and deeply supportive of sex-workers, kinky-, poly-, queer-, ace-, trans-, and other marginalized people. I practice from a body-neutral perspective and align with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles.
My role is to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can have the opportunity to explore new ways of being. Whether it’s learning how to cope with overwhelming feelings, rethinking the stories you've been told about who you "should" be, or finding ways to reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose, you do not have to do this alone.
