(she/her)
Awareness is the first step toward freedom.
Many of the people I work with appear successful, capable, and steady on the outside. Inside, they often feel exhausted, anxious, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how they got so far from who they really are. Some are healing from religious or relational harm. Others are navigating burnout, codependency, midlife transitions, or a quiet but persistent inner critic that never seems satisfied.
You might feel like you should have it figured out by now, yet something still feels heavy, confusing, or stuck.
You may notice:
Feeling disconnected, numb, or unsure how to access your emotions
Carrying shame or self-blame that will not let go
Questioning who you are or feeling like your sense of self has slipped away
Feeling anxious, on edge, or unable to relax
Repeating the same relationship or behavior patterns even when you want change
Navigating midlife shifts such as career changes, empty nesting, caregiving, partnership changes, or wondering what is next
My work is to help you untangle these patterns, reclaim your voice, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been buried under expectation, fear, or survival.
At Five Oaks, I take inspiration from the oak tree. Growth begins quietly, like an acorn in the soil. With care, challenge, and time, it develops deep roots and resilience to weather storms.
Therapy can be that same process: tending to yourself, facing what is difficult, and becoming more grounded, authentic, and free.
I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. I specialize in religious/ cult trauma, codependency, burnout, and recovery from narcissistic or emotionally harmful relationships. My approach is compassionate, curious, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Clients often describe our work as both deeply reflective and practical, helping them understand their stories while also building tools for real change.
Together, we create a space where you can explore honestly, question old beliefs, and practice new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Discover the freedom to see yourself with compassion, change limiting beliefs, and build relationships that bring connection, clarity, and joy.
And I will support you on the journey.
