Ryan Tropf, LSWAIC
Psychotherapist
(He/They)
Hi, I'm Ryan. I work with adults who've spent a long time translating themselves: masking, overexplaining, showing up early so they're never seen as unreliable, and who are ready to put some of that down. I work especially with ADHD and Autistic adults (diagnosed, self-identified, or still figuring it out), LGBTQIA+ and ethically non-monogamous folks, and anyone navigating burnout, trauma, anxiety, or depression. I'm queer and ENM myself, so your identity and the shape of your relationships won't need translating here.
When I was diagnosed with ADHD, much of my own life suddenly made sense. That shapes how I practice: neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed, centered on radical self-acceptance rather than assimilation. My goal isn't to help you mask better, but to help you take the mask off, reconnect with yourself, and recognize the strengths in the way you're wired.
I offer telehealth sessions in the evenings: 4–9 PM Pacific, across Washington State, built for people who've too often found therapy hard to reach when it's only offered during the workday. I also offer free 15-min consultations to give us an opportunity to determine if we're a good fit before committing to anything. If it feels right to you, let's connect!
