Counseling Resident

(they/them)

Hailing from the dusty trails of eastern Washington, I grew up a BIPOC kiddo in a working class family of a single white mom. Being a person of the global majority, queer, and nonbinary, I found myself staggering multiple sides of a few different fences. These experiences inform how I approach my work - I am able to hold knowing space in my heart and mind regarding identity, family systems, intersectionality, trauma, societal pressure, expectations, existential grief, unmet needs, and beyond.

Oftentimes we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed like we are just trying to survive in a very complex world, as we break down the blocks and heal the hurts we can move into a place of thriving. Taking the step forward and seeking therapy isn't always easy, I strive to make it as smooth as possible and welcome you into a safer space to be seen and heard. Getting to know a new therapist can be awkward or uncomfortable at times, and I welcome levity and ease into the space, aiming to make the heavy feel liftable and the new feel comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and walking this journey together.

Together we can work towards healing old wounds and getting you to the place you want to be. With a collaborative lens and warm understanding, we move together on your chosen path. I am honored to help guide you through the difficult moments and be there to celebrate with you in the wins.
