Sierra Gray, MA, LMHCA
Psychotherapist
(she/her)
Are you a deep thinker and feeler, but still have trouble trusting yourself or making sense of your inner world? Maybe you’re in a season of change and feeling like you don’t quite recognize yourself anymore. Maybe you find yourself getting stuck in the same patterns, even though you’re self-aware and introspective. You might be navigating a loss, a shift in your identity or values, a change in your relationships, or just feeling unsure about what comes next.
I’m Sierra! If you're reading these words, you’ve already done something courageous: you’ve noticed that something needs to change. I believe that sustainable change & deep healing happen in connection: with ourselves, with other people, and with the world around us. I see therapy as a space to get curious about what’s happening inside. I aim to create a space that feels safe and warm enough to let that curiosity come alive.
My approach is relational, warm and engaged. I draw from a variety of approaches depending on what feels most helpful or relevant – attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness and somatic approaches are most commonly what I utilize with clients. My work is also done from a foundational understanding that we are shaped by our identities, histories, and the systems we move through - this includes systems that can create and perpetuate harm, marginalization, and chronic disconnection. I hold space for the whole picture, while honoring your expertise in your own life.
I’ve navigated settings that felt cold, overly clinical and pathologizing – this called me to do things differently in my own practice. Sessions with me are active, playful and collaborative. You don’t need to perform, to know what to say, or even to know where to begin. This journey is one we’ll be on together.
My own experiences with change, identity, loss, relationships, and motherhood have shaped my path into this work. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in nonprofit and behavioral health settings supporting adults and children. Those experiences continue to inform how I show up with clients: with curiosity, openness, warmth, and an awareness of the larger systems and contexts that shape our lives.
My practice is LGBTQIA2S+ affirming & inclusive of diverse relationship structures. People of all identities, backgrounds, abilities, and life experiences are welcome here.
